One of the questions I hear most often before a first session is: what happens when you access your Akashic Records? Other common questions include:
- How do I find my Akashic Records?: Your Records are not a physical place to find. They are accessed energetically.
- Is it okay to open Akashic Records?: With your consent which is presumed when you purchase a session with me, I then access your Akashic Records together with you through an online session.
Many people imagine a spiritual library and wonder whether they will see pages, hear a voice or suddenly receive every answer they have been searching for. In practice, accessing Akashic Records is not only about receiving information. We are connecting with a high-vibrational energetic field through which Divine guidance, higher perspectives & healing can be experienced in our energy bodies (physical, mental, emotional and spiritual) and light bodies, in various aspects of ourselves across lifetimes, timelines, dimensions and existences.
How this connection is experienced will differ from person to person, but its purpose remains the same: to guide us on a deep remembrance of ourselves as a multi-dimensional being, to reclaim our powers, and to lead fulfilling prosperous lives on Earth.
So what happens when you open the Akashic Records? The experience can register through the body, emotions, awareness or intuitive perception.
What Does It Feel Like to Access the Akashic Records?
For many people, the first difference is an energetic shift. Common experiences may include:
- Tingling around the crown or other areas of the body
- Light-headedness or a slight sense of expansion
- Warmth or changes in body temperature
- A deep sense of peace, of being supported and surrounded by unconditional love
- Tears or emotional release, especially after a period of feeling alone or disconnected from the Divine
Your experience may not include every sensation on this list, and that is completely normal. What you feel will depend on how your body and energies respond as the Records are accessed, and how sensitive and connected you are to your own body.
Beyond the physical sensations, your awareness will also begin to expand. We become less confined by, or attached to, the fear, frustration, negativity or confusion that we feel towards an issue and become receptive to a higher soul-level perspective. This may bring:
- Greater clarity around an issue that previously felt difficult to comprehend
- A broader perspective on a relationship, decision or recurring challenge
- Greater openness to the root cause or soul lesson behind what we are experiencing
- A sense of seeing the situation beyond our immediate emotions
How the Records Actually Speak to You
As an Akashic Records Reader, I observe that guidance from the Akashic Records comes through the psychic ability that is most natural and developed within us. This may include:
- Inner sight: Words, images, colours, symbols, people or scenes.
- Inner hearing: Sounds or an inner voice.
- Inner sensations: Emotions, physical sensations or subtle shifts in energy.
- Claircognisance: A direct inner knowing.
Information can also come through symbols or metaphors. An image that seems unrelated at first can become clearer through deeper questioning and reflection, especially when it connects with a memory, relationship or life issue. As we work with our intuition, other less developed psychic senses can also strengthen through consistent practice.
Beyond how the message is received, the Records may also reveal much more than the question the clients initially wanted to ask. We may seek guidance about a relationship, career choice or recurring challenge, while our Akashic Masters reveal its root cause, the soul lessons involved, limiting beliefs that require healing or a past-life experience where relevant.
The answer we receive may therefore be very different from the answer we expect. Our Masters are not there to validate what we already believe or want to hear. Our openness of heart and mind will allow us to benefit the most out of each Akashic Records session.
Why a Session Often Feels Like More Than Just Receiving Answers
A session in the Akashic Records can involve both receiving Divine guidance and energetic healing.

During the reading, I share your Akashic Masters’ messages to provide deep insight and guidance on the key issues you wish to work on. The healing component may include a meditation, Quantum Clearings & Activations, or other energetic healing as intuitively guided for your needs.
When the Records reveal a root cause, limiting belief, past-life experience or energetic imbalance, the response can also be emotional. Tears, relief, forgiveness or peace can arise when we finally see why a particular issue has continued to affect us and what is ready to be healed or released.
That insight can also change how we relate to the experience itself. What once seemed confusing or repetitive may make sense from a soul-level perspective, allowing us to address the deeper issue and create a lasting breakthrough, instead of only reacting to what is happening on the surface.
For clients who want to focus specifically on energetic healing, Quantum Light Healing works directly with the energetic imbalances relevant at that time, diving deep into an intuitive healing guided by your divine team and your specific requests for healing. The healing will then unfold based on what aligns with your highest good. A recording will also be provided so that you can deepen your own healing as needed.
On Timing, Trust, and Why the Records Share Only What You Are Ready For
Not every question receives the same amount of information. One answer may come through in depth, while another is brief. A session may also keep returning to one issue even when you prepared several questions. That is when there is a key recurring message you need to focus on.
That does not make the reading incomplete. Your Akashic Masters may reveal one layer of an issue now because that is the part you should focus on at this stage. Other aspects may only become relevant after something changes in your life, you make a choice, or you have integrated what was already shared. If they do not answer a question (in rare cases), they will usually explain why.
The body may detect sensations during and after a session. In most cases, clients feel a deep sense of peace, safety and protection in the Akashic Records realm. Some clients feel tired, heavy, experience a mild headache, or start burping. All these are normal as the body naturally undergoes clearing & purging while resting in the Akashic Records energies. Even if no obvious physical sensation is experienced, subtle healing and shifts are still taking place within us. Know that we are made up of energies, and at any time, changes could be happening at the physical, mental, emotional or spiritual bodies, to various aspects of ourselves in different timelines, lifetimes, dimensions and existences. These sensations are not a measure of how much healing took place, or how “successful” the reading was, or how “spiritually advanced” the client was.
In a 1-on-1 Akashic Records reading in Singapore, we usually work with 3 to 5 questions that you prepared in advance, and are fully guided by your Akashic Masters throughout the session. This means that every Akashic Records session is unique and customised for the client’s needs. If necessary, we may focus much of the session on one issue even if you prepared several questions. If the reading brings forward ancestral patterns as we dive deeper into root causes of certain issues you are experiencing, we will also allow all these to surface and be shared.
You do not need to leave with every piece of the story figured out. Sometimes one important truth is enough to positively shift how you see the issue in front of you.
