Goddess Tara is also referred to as the Wisdom Goddess, the Embodiment of Perfect Wisdom, and the Mother of all Buddhas. She is well known for coming to the swift rescue of those in need, thereby saving and shielding them from external harm, danger and mishap. She is commonly depicted in her 21 manifestations.
