Goddess Sekhmet, whose name means “she who is powerful”, is also referred to as a Warrior Goddess, the Goddess of Medicine, and the Goddess of War and Destruction. In Egyptian mythology, she is often depicted as a Goddess in a human body having the head of a lioness. Her energies are highly powerful, assertive and protective.
