The past month has been really challenging for me.
In response to an increasing number of Covid infected cases, a slew of government measures was announced, primarily targeted at the unvaccinated persons in Singapore. These included barring the unvaccinated persons from entering shopping malls, visiting attractions, travelling overseas, and even reporting to physical workplaces with effect from 1 Jan 2022.
To many unvaccinated persons, the latest government measures were the last straw for them. Many felt compelled to opt for the vaccine, in exchange for the right of entry to shopping malls and physical workplaces. Many were fearful of the threat of receiving a pay cut, affecting their job performance, or even dismissal / termination from employment. With the employers being granted the prerogative to decide on the fate of these unvaccinated employees, one can well imagine what this means in reality. In many cases, it literally means, “take it (the vaccine) or leave it (the job)”.
To me, it represents the most unfortunate turn of events in this Covid-19 outbreak.
Many months back, when the experimental vaccine was first rolled out, we were informed that everyone has the right of choice whether to take the vaccine or not; the vaccination was not mandatory. We were also informed that the vaccines protect ourselves & others from being infected with Covid, and that “herd immunity” would be achieved after 80-85% of the population had been vaccinated.
In recent months, the aggressive push to compel everyone to be vaccinated, leaves more questions than answers. Some questions that have been weighing on my mind:
- Where is the “herd immunity” even after 85% of the population had been fully vaccinated?
- With a sizeable proportion of vaccinated persons being infected with Covid daily, does the vaccine truly protect ourselves & others from being infected with Covid? Or does the vaccine project a false sense of security that all is well, such that any death or serious illnesses due to Covid infection has nothing to do with the ineffectiveness of the vaccine & everything to do with one’s pre-existing medical condition?
- What is the real reason behind the aggressive push to compel the unvaccinated persons to be vaccinated?
- Who truly benefits from this vaccination campaign?
- Do we truly have the right of choice whether to take the vaccine or not? Why must the right of choice be threatened with the barring of entry into shopping malls and physical workplaces, as well as the possibility of pay cut, affecting job performance, or even dismissal / termination from employment, in the event of non-compliance?
- Why are we not given specific data on all adverse reactions within 14 days of vaccination (be it first, second or booster jab)? How can we truly make an informed decision without considering these data?
- How can we be certain that serious side effects related to the vaccines are “very rare”? Are these cases even publicly reported in the mainstream media? What about any long-term side-effects?
- How effective is the vaccination as a long-term strategy to cope with the Covid-19 outbreak? Given that any vaccine protection wanes over time, do we continue to opt for booster jabs and/or experimental oral pills, with no end in sight?
- Does the vaccine triumph over the body’s natural immunity & ability to heal itself?
Despite the lack of answers to these questions (and many more), the pressure has intensified for everyone to be vaccinated. Even for persons who were “medically ineligible” to take the mRNA vaccines, they are now being offered the experimental China vaccine as an alternative, failing which they will be considered as “medically eligible” and dealt with accordingly.
To me, I felt like I was swimming in the deep end of the ocean. Barely making sense of all information received, yet expected to commit to a decision soonest possible.
At the back of my mind, I kept wondering:
- If something is good for me, why must I be pressured into taking it?
- Why can’t I be trusted to make the best decision for myself?
- Why must someone else impose or impress upon me what is best for me?
As I mulled over my limited options, I realised that the focus is no longer solely on whether any vaccine truly benefits & protects me in the event of a Covid infection. Instead, I have to take into account all the negative consequences that await me, should I choose to disobey the top-down orders to be vaccinated.
As I groped my way around in the dark, I started working with my Akashic Masters to understand deeply the external situation that I was in, as well as my internal thoughts, emotions & feelings.
The focus was less of changing the external situation, but more of identifying, understanding, reconciling & releasing whatever fears that I held within me. In particular, those fears that were preventing me from exercising my free will & choice. With their guidance, we managed to work on my fears of losing my job, being judged by others, being the odd one out, and my inability to trust that I will be divinely protected and guided all the way. Interestingly, my ordeal became somewhat like a blessing in disguise, for it became my opportunity to work deeply on myself. And through it all, to understand myself better.
As I continue to navigate my way in the dark, deep down, I know that I always have my team of Akashic Masters backing me up. I am not, and will never be, alone. It is an illusion of mind to think & feel that I am all alone. Like many others, I grew up being accustomed to only rely on, or trust, my five senses (namely, eyesight, hearing, taste, smell and touch). Therefore, it takes constant practice, openness of heart & mind, strong faith & trust for me to connect deeply with my unseen friends all around me. With my current challenges at work, it presents a precious opportunity for me to deepen my connection with my Akashic Masters to the next level. 🌞
To not only Ask, but Receive.
To not only Receive, but Trust.
To not only Trust, but Surrender.
To Surrender represents a willingness to be guided, supported & protected every step of the way. To accept that I may not have the benefit of all the answers at every stage. To bravely & courageously experience whatever challenges that come my way, and take the learnings in my stride, nonetheless. To view my earthly existence as part of a divine plan in the making.
And so it is.

Dear children, it takes a great amount of humility & patience to simply surrender to the divine flow & guidance, instead of rigidly attempting to force your way through the perceived obstacles. Every perceived obstacle is somewhat an illusion of mind, for beneath each obstacle resides the precious opportunity for deeper self-realisations & self-growth. Everyone has the ability to transcend the hardships that come their way, by internalising the wisdom that it presents. Believe in yourself, that you have what it takes to rise above all these issues bombarding you. You can do it! 🌟
